Open to adult Catholics who desire to become a disciple and cultivate disciples in others, the School of Discipleship shows you how to follow Christ every day. The material in the School of Discipleship is the realization that we need to go beyond learning and into practice. Sessions are taught by Jeff Cavins, Catechetical Institute instructor and former director, and Father Mike Schmitz.
You will learn important keys to live your life as a modern disciple:
- What does it mean to be a modern-day disciple?
- What are the daily disciplines of a disciple?
- How do you share your faith with confidence?
- How do you bring your prayer life to a new level?
- How do you hear the voice of God in daily prayer?
Who should attend the School of Discipleship?
If you completed the CI and asked, "What's next?," this experience is for you. If you have not gone through the CI but are interested in taking your faith to the next level, this experience is for you. If you want to truly walk with Christ, this experience is for you! Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
