Marriage: How to Make It a Vocation of Love (IDF)
Deacon candidates and their wives and Holy Spirit parishioners are invited to a Cana Brunch on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Dr. John Buri, professor of psychology at the University of St. Thomas, will be the guest speaker.
Dr. Buri has been married to his wife, Kathy, for 46 years. What began as a high school romance has blossomed into a family blessed with 6 children and soon to be 15 grandchildren. Dr. Buri is a national speaker and author of How To Love Your Wife and Intentional Dating: When You’re Ready To Leave Behind the Liars, Losers, and Lemons – 15 Keys To Finding Love For a Lifetime. He also works in the Marriage Preparation Program for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
The morning will include a marriage blessing by Father Dan Haugan, pastor of Holy Spirit.
