Fall Clergy Study Day 2020 (IOCF)

Renewing the Heart and Happiness of the Clergy
Father Robert Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D., will present:
- An introduction to the Four Levels of Happiness as a foundation for self-reflection and as a catalyst to energize your ministry
- An exploration of Clerical Spirituality
- A confirmation of your Clerical Fatherhood
- The importance of unity and fraternity in the clergy
In the wake of the events of the past couple years, it is important to renew a sense of identity, confidence, and leadership in our ministry. Fr. Spitzer will speak to how this renewal begins in the heart, and is rooted in a philosophical and theological understanding of happiness as a fundamental driver in our lives. We will explore how the deepest, most enduring, and most pervasive happiness is found in the enhancement of our spiritual life and relationship with God both individually and in the unity and fraternity of our brothers in ministry. This happiness and confidence in our own life and ministry will become contagious and our spirit will radiate out from our hearts and permeate our parishes and parishioners.
Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D., is the founder and president of the Spitzer Center. A scholar, teacher, author, and seasoned leader, Fr. Spitzer is a theologian and philosopher. His other fields of expertise include management science, finance, ethics, and physics.
