Silent, Preached Retreat with Father Dennis McManus

We so often concentrate on the deeds of Jesus — his miracles, his preaching, and his passion, death and resurrection — that we overlook his conversations. When Jesus speaks with women, the apostles, and gentiles or fellow Jews, he often opens up his hearers to their own deepest questions. This retreat will take a look at Jesus’ unique conversational methods and try to find in each exchange some direction for the prayer life of the clergy. Special focus given to Jesus’ conversations with women, Peter, and non-Jews.
