Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation

The Saint Paul Seminary Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation fosters happy, holy, healthy Catholic priests and deacons by giving them the resources necessary to lead vibrant, thriving parishes throughout their ministry.

"I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands."
(2 Timothy 1:6)

Established in 2015 as a post-ordination program, The Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation seeks to deepen holiness and conversion in clerical life, in imitation of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through ongoing human, intellectual, spiritual and pastoral formation. The institute supports ordained priests and deacons as they live out their vocations in joyful service to the Church.

From the Director

"Continuing transformation in Christ never ends. It is an ongoing development of the human person under the influence of grace and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Institute for Ongoing Clergy Formation helps 'stir into flame' the great gift each ordained man receives in Holy Orders by facilitating holistic growth in knowledge, conversion and holiness of life. This is accomplished through offering opportunities for ongoing formation across the dimensions of formation to build up the Body of Christ in our parishes, dioceses, and throughout the world."
