Our graduate degree programs enable men and women to engage fully their baptismal call to a deepened faith, to broadened knowledge, and to a full and active role of servant leadership in the Church.
The Master of Arts in Theology, Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Master of Arts in Religious Education degree programs are all offered in an evening format that allows students to balance work, family, and continuing education. Students may choose to pursue a graduate degree on a full-time or part-time basis. Full-time students can complete the Master of Arts in Theology degree within two to three years and the Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry or Master of Arts in Religious Education in three to four years.
During the academic year, each three-credit course meets one evening per week on the University of St. Thomas’ south campus. Several sessions are offered during the summer term with each course meeting every week day for two weeks. This allows those who live outside of the metro area to complete a degree by attending summers only.
