John Ireland Scholarship
The University of St. Thomas and The Saint Paul Seminary were founded by the visionary Archbishop John Ireland, the third bishop and first archbishop of St. Paul. The John Ireland Scholarship honors his commitment to Catholic education and service to God's people by offering recent graduates of the University of St. Thomas a full-tuition scholarship for the opportunity to pursue full-time graduate studies in any of the degree programs at the School of Divinity. Master of Arts in Theology Scholarship
This merit-based scholarship is awarded annually for up to two qualified students entering the Master of Arts in Theology degree program. The award is for 80 percent of tuition costs, renewable for a maximum of two years of full-time study or four years of part-time study. Saint Paul Scholarship
